Introduction
This page contains the guide on how to properly install Ragnarok Online on your computer and prepare things for EssenceRO.
Required Files
- kRO Main Client (Current Version: 0923)
- EssenceRO Lite 6.2 Installer
You can find download links on the Downloads Page of the website.
Installation Guide
1. Run the Setup through RAG_SETUP####.exe
Note:The Setup is in Korean language, and might look strange on some computers. It's also recommended that you don't install kRO in Program Files, but somewhere else instead. (Example: C:\Gravity\RO)

6. Confirm the folder creation by clicking Yes when it prompts you.
7. The Setup is now complete.
Patching Guide
1. When it's done installing, make sure to patch it up completely. (Should you run into problems with patching, then check out the Patch Problems page to find a possible solution).
2. Start Ragnarok.exe (Located in your RO folder)
3. Let it patch until the 
button becomes 
and then press the right-most button to close it.
4. When you're done patching KRO, you can install EssenceRO Lite. Close the Patcher and install eROSetup.msi (EssenceRO Lite Installer) Install this into your RO folder.
5. Patch EssenceRO by running EssenceRO Patcher.
Note: Anti-virus programs might pick up the Essence Patcher file as a false positive.
6. You are done! When it's done patching you'll be able to connect and play on EssenceRO!

Sakray Installations
Sakray is no longer supported. You can choose to install the Renewal Client to save time, it's still much better to just start clean. Uninstall your Sakray (Make sure to back up your Screenshots/Emblems/Custom AI/Chats before you do this) and download and install the kRO Main Client.
Using kRO Renewal
If you still don't want to install kRO Main (Not recommended), then you need to download and install the kRO Renewal Client (RAGRE_SETUP####.exe), or download eRO 6.2 with Renewal:
